Job summary

Citi is seeking a Full Stack Senior Engineer in Mississauga, Ontario, offering a hybrid role. You will lead applications development, design microservices, and guide teams across time zones to deliver scalable software within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include architecture alignment, coding standards, risk assessment, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating with stakeholders to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in the Financial Service industry.
• Designing microservices and distributed architecture enterprise applications.
• Hands‑on proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES2022+).
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with Sprint planning.
• Experience with Cloud/IaaS/PaaS, UI/UX, and SOA/Microservices.
• Experience in regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to integrate functions and deploy product enhancements.
• Resolve high impact problems through analysis of business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in application design and ensure alignment with architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Understand how architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, assigning work as needed.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and Citi policies.
