Citi in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Senior Vice President Full Stack Engineer to lead enterprise CRM and financial platform development. You will architect, design, and deliver high-availability systems for global institutional clients with a hands-on engineering approach.

You will mentor a 20+ person team, drive microservices migration, automate release pipelines, and collaborate across business units and vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and robust performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing and managing enterprise CRM applications.
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams of 20+ professionals.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and the broader Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Data, JPA, Maven/Gradle).
• Hands-on experience designing and developing solutions using middleware like Kafka, TIBCO, and Apache MQ over SSL.
• Deep knowledge of microservices architectures and migrating monolithic apps to cloud/on-premise environments.
• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, JSON, JAXB, and XML/Protobuf.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of enterprise CRM and financial apps with 24/5 availability.
• Design and deliver microservices-based solutions and migrate to cloud-ready architectures.
• Own engineering roadmap for stability, quality, and functionality across production.
• Automate release pipelines for zero-downtime deployments across the platform.
• Serve as technical liaison between business users, internal teams, and vendors.
• Mentor a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers and foster high-performance culture.
• Assess risks and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
