Raydar is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to own backend-leaning product features through the full lifecycle, collaborating with design, frontend, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid San Francisco setting.

You will write Python server-side code, design scalable APIs, and contribute to data processing workflows while building robust, reliable services. A product-minded, independent contributor with 3–10 years of experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on full-stack or backend-leaning skills, including Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong grounding in software architecture and API design, with scalable systems knowledge.
• Experience designing and consuming scalable REST APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or STEM field.
• Product-minded and independent work approach.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python server-side code, including APIs, storage layers and data processing workflows.
• Take features from concept to launch, contributing on the frontend with design and frontend colleagues.
• Partner with research, deployment and product teams to deliver new functionality.
• Set up logging, alerting and automated test coverage to keep the system stable as usage grows.
• Contribute as part of a small, close-knit engineering group.
