Bright Horizons is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the development of scalable web and mobile initiatives. You will build both frontend and backend solutions in a hybrid environment, collaborating with internal and vendor teams to meet diverse business needs.

The role emphasizes modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development, cloud-native architectures, and automated testing, with in-person work 3 days/week at the Newton, MA headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of additional experience would be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in back-end development using .NET Core/.NET, C#, REST API, SQL Server.
• Experience in front-end development using Angular, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, Unit test frameworks (Jasmine, Jest, NgRx, RxJS).
• Experience using Azure PAAS/SAAS resources (Service Bus, Key Vault, Data Factory, Pipelines, Storage).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on development in the application development, unit test, and rollout of strategic web and Mobile initiatives.
• Develop both front‑end and back‑end for web/mobile applications with a hybrid internal/vendor team.
• Work with Business Owners and Business Analysis teams to create business requirements.
• Document technical requirements and specifications for Web/Mobile apps and related solutions.
• Provide feedback on technical designs and methods to support business requirements.
• Communicate project planning and status information to leadership/management.
• Deliver demos/presentations tailored to the audience, as needed.
