Job summary

totHR is seeking a production software engineer in the United States to own both backend and frontend development end-to-end. The role requires delivering robust APIs with FastAPI and building rich UIs using React.js and TypeScript, backed by PostgreSQL and containerized with Docker.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in production software engineering, hands-on cloud deployment experience, andHealthcare IT exposure (HIS/EMR/FHIR). Startup or founding-engineer background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of production software engineering experience.
• 3+ years with FastAPI or a comparable asynchronous Python framework.
• 3+ years with React.js and TypeScript.
• Practical PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Own backend and frontend development end-to-end.
• Healthcare IT exposure (HIS, EMR/EHR, FHIR/HL7) and experience in a startup or founding-engineer environment.
