You will build frontend and backend systems, design APIs, and contribute to scalable data platforms that handle millions of records.

You'll mentor teammates, shape technical direction, and own end-to-end projects from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• - 8+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production software systems.
• - Strong full-stack engineering experience across frontend and backend.
• - Experience building customer-facing apps using React, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• - Designing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native apps.
• - Write maintainable code, perform reviews, and drive best practices.
• - Proven track record leading projects from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications powering Datavant's healthcare data ecosystem.
• Deliver exceptional user experiences by partnering with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.
• Develop scalable frontend, backend services, APIs, and data-driven solutions handling millions of records.
• Guide technical design decisions and establish architecture patterns for long-term scalability.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Own end-to-end projects from design through deployment and operation.
• Drive innovation and deliver solutions that improve outcomes for healthcare organizations and patients.
• Share expertise with the engineering community via discussions and blog contributions.
