Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver mission-critical healthcare applications in a hybrid Atlanta-area setting. You’ll own UI, services, and data interactions, collaborating with clinical and product teams to drive impact and value.

Expect to work across modern front-end frameworks, backend services, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-assisted tooling while navigating healthcare regulations and interoperability standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with .NET/Java/Node.js/Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native applications (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code to provision cloud resources.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git repositories.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
