Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to architect and deliver mission-critical healthcare applications. You will shape interfaces and backends while balancing performance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate across product, design, QA, security and platform teams; leverage AI-assisted coding tools and modern frameworks to accelerate delivery. Hybrid in-office model with regular collaboration planned.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in full stack development.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services and APIs using .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful integrations.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Bicep) to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare) preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (Epic) preferred.
• End-to-end ownership mindset; balance architecture with delivery value.
