Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Mentor other engineers and participate in internal/external tech communities
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of users
• Utilize languages like Java, Go, Python, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and use Docker/Kubernetes and AWS tools
• Provide technical leadership and set standards for design, development, and operations
• Partner with architects to define service boundaries and reusable frameworks
• Identify refactoring opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve performance
