Mastercard Colombia, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale real-time, full-stack applications for SME partnerships and loyalty. You will own front-end and back-end development, APIs, and data-layer design in a global, agile environment.

The role emphasizes cloud-native, scalable solutions with UI/UX focus, and mentorship of junior engineers. This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise-scale full-stack apps
• Strong Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices
• Proficient in React/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive UI design
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake) and data modeling
• Knowledge of cloud-native development, Azure preferred
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews and observability

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and enhance full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, and Snowflake.
• Develop scalable microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems for real-time analytics and data-driven apps.
• Create intuitive, responsive UI delivering meaningful insights and outstanding UX.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable software solutions.
• Optimize database structures, queries, and data models for large-scale apps.
• Apply solid software engineering principles and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects across global teams.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, observability, and operation excellence.
• Contribute to Agile planning and delivery with technical ownership.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot with human oversight.
• Mentor teammates and promote engineering excellence.
