Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale real-time, interactive applications used worldwide. The role covers front-end and back-end development, cloud-native solutions, and data-intensive systems in a hybrid Atlanta-based environment with optional O’Fallon, MO.

You will mentor engineers and contribute to CI/CD and testing practices. Ideal candidates have enterprise-grade Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular experience, strong data modeling skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

Extensive experience developing enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
Experience designing and developing Java applications, Spring Boot services and microservices.
Strong hands-on experience with React/Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and enhance full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, and Snowflake.
Develop scalable microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems for real-time analytics and data-driven apps.
Build intuitive, responsive UIs and translate requirements into secure, scalable software.
