Job summary

Valiant Harbor International, LLC is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a small, highly technical team supporting U.S. Air Force programs at Hanscom AFB.

In this role you will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions while working directly with government stakeholders to translate mission needs into robust technical designs and roadmaps. This is a mission-critical environment where security, DevSecOps practices, and modern software engineering are

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related STEM field.
• 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing secure, scalable full-stack applications.
• Experience with Java in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack software solutions.
• Build enterprise integrations, APIs, and database-driven applications.
• Collaborate with Air Force stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
• Design system architecture and contribute to long-term roadmaps.
• Develop clean, well-tested code following modern software engineering practices.
• Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, integration, and performance issues.
• Support secure software development and DevSecOps throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to shared libraries, tools, and engineering processes.
