Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (O&M) to support a mission-critical enterprise application used by the federal government, ensuring reliability, security, and modernization of a complex production environment.

You will sustain, optimize, and enhance the application, focusing on stability, refactoring, troubleshooting, and minor feature enhancements across Angular front ends and .NET Core microservices, with a strong emphasis on high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on full-stack engineering with emphasis on O&M or legacy systems.
• Strong back-end expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and debugging.
• Proven experience maintaining and refactoring Angular/TypeScript production codebases.
• Advanced skills in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, SSRS, Ext JS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize existing .NET Core microservices and ASP.NET applications for high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade Angular-based SPAs.
• Manage and tune SQL Server databases, including repairing stored procedures and improving query performance.
• Analyze legacy application logic to identify and resolve high-priority bugs and production incidents.
• Apply security patches, performance improvements, and minor feature enhancements based on stakeholder needs.
