Job summary

SealingTech, a Parsons company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and advance our web product stack across frontend, backend, and deployment workflows. You will work from a live codebase, shipping features, maintaining reliability, and handling production issues.

You will collaborate with a team to design, implement, and optimize the Zepharis product suite, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions that scale across environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong React, Vue, and TypeScript experience.
• Experience with CSS frameworks and UI component libraries.
• Experience with frontend state management and testing frameworks.
• SME level Python API development with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy.
• SME level PostgreSQL experience and migrations.
• Enterprise web app design and shipping experience.
• Experience with Docker/Podman, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and Agile workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; degree in engineering/CS.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for the Zepharis product suite and its existing integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across local, CI, and production environments.
• Co‑lead day‑to‑day development of the Zepharis product suite; UI, API, and database layers; alongside senior engineering leadership.
• Build new features as a full‑stack engineer using Python, React, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and Postgres.
• Architect database schema changes and plan migrations.
• Document technical decisions to improve handoff and operational clarity.
• Mentor junior/mid‑level engineers and lead code reviews or design discussions.
