Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building products at scale.
• Strong experience in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products with translation from product needs to tech requirements.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with customer stakeholders.
• Experience with web apps and APIs and owning full stack features.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with production infrastructure and observability (logging, monitoring, alerting, debugging).
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop the end-to-end experience for AI-powered products, including data pipelines, backend services, and user interfaces for interacting with the Kargo platform.
• Build and evolve customer-facing dashboards and applications to help users understand and act on logistics data.
• Develop software across web, mobile, and kiosk interfaces deployed on Kargo Towers and forklifts.
• Collaborate with Product and Solution Engineers to build the agentic AI product suite.
• Strengthen the stability, scalability, and measurability of backend systems.
