Collectors, a leading tech-enabled collectibles company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the PSA Liquidity Platform. You will drive buyer tooling, matching engines, and scalable architecture across millions of items.

You will collaborate with AI/ML teams, own end-to-end delivery, and ensure cross-functional alignment while focusing on performance, reliability, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience and track record shipping 0-to-1 products with measurable impact.
• Full-stack proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and modern frontend frameworks (React/Svelte).
• Distributed-systems depth with microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Observability-first approach with monitoring tools (Datadog/New Relic/OpenTelemetry).
• AI-first engineering mindset applying AI tooling across the SDLC.
• Systems thinking with clean boundaries and customer focus.
• Influential communicator aligning engineers, product partners, and stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset willing to wear multiple hats to deliver outcomes.
• Bonus: passion for collecting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the buyer platform with targeting, campaign management, and analytics.
• Build and optimize a real-time matching engine to maximize GMV and conversions.
• Architect scalable microservices and event-driven systems with low latency.
• Improve the seller experience by reducing friction in pricing and sales.
• Apply AI tooling across the development lifecycle to raise quality.
• Own end-to-end outcomes from concept to production product.
• Translate strategy into technical plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure liquidity handoffs across PSA enterprise spanning payments, logistics, and risk.
• Communicate clearly in both written and spoken forms across stakeholders.
