Job summary

Valitana LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to help build and scale Vantage, our multi-asset trade and portfolio management platform used by institutional investors. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines while collaborating with frontend engineers to deliver performant, secure solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in FinTech/tech, expertise in C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud-based architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Back-End Developer in FinTech or tech.
• Proficiency in server-side languages: C#/.Net, ASP.Net Core, EF, SQL; Python a plus.
• Experience with web frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, distributed systems, and modern deployment practices.
• Experience in agile environments; self-starter; able to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: Understanding of financial products, especially structured products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and core application logic.
• Improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and client-facing teams to translate requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations.
• Write, maintain, and review automated tests for quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and identify technical risks.
• Contribute to software design discussions, code reviews, and documentation.
• Support end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment and post-release monitoring.
