Job summary

Trajan Wealth LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep API management experience to help build, scale, and secure our financial services platforms. You’ll work across the stack—from React/TypeScript frontend to Node.js/Java/Python backend, and interface with the API gateway and integration layer connecting internal systems, partner banks, and data providers.

You’ll collaborate with product, security, compliance, and SRE to deliver features that meet regulatory standards while moving

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript; backend in Java/Python/Go/Node.js/C#.
Experience designing APIs (REST, GraphQL, or event-driven).
Experience with API management platforms (MuleSoft or similar).
Security-focused identity: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mTLS.
Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Observability, logging, tracing, and SLO-driven development.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate full-stack features from React front ends to backend services.
Own API lifecycle: versioning, deprecation, OpenAPI docs, SDKs.
Configure the API gateway (MuleSoft) and secure authentication patterns.
Collaborate with security/compliance to meet SOC 2, PCI DSS, GLBA, GDPR/CCPA.
Ensure observability: logging, tracing, metrics, alerts, and SLOs.
Write production-grade, well-tested code; participate in on-call rotations.
Work with product to translate business and regulatory needs into designs.
