Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer to support the DOE EHSS AICS program. The role involves designing enterprise-scale applications, building APIs, and ensuring secure, compliant operations across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work in a hybrid setup serving DOE sites in the DC metro area. A TS clearance is required with potential for a higher clearance. Competitive health benefits and retirement programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 6 years of experience may substitute.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience as a full-stack developer.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
• Develop code, web services, and APIs supporting transaction processing and data exchange.
• Develop Oracle and MS SQL Server solutions using Java, .NET.
• Integrate authentication, RBAC, data security, and Zero Trust controls.
• Create data models, queries, and ETL for BI, analytics, ML, AI use cases.
• Develop tests, automate testing, support CI/CD, releases, and documentation.
