The Trade Desk in Chicago seeks a senior software engineer to own end-to-end systems that power omnichannel advertising. You will design, build, and operate data-heavy services in a distributed backend stack with C#, Java, or Python.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong distributed systems and backend development in C#, Java, or Python.
• Solid CS fundamentals and agile, distributed team experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems that orchestrate advertising across channels.
• Collaborate across identity, measurement and bidding teams to create cohesive omnichannel solutions.
• Own projects end to end from design to production rollout and operation.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical designs.
• Deliver high-quality changes with tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define success.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of trust and ownership.
