The Trade Desk in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end systems across the omnichannel ad stack. You will design, build, and operate data‑driven backend services that span identity, measurement and bidding.

You will mentor peers, translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete designs, and ship with automated tests and monitoring. The role requires 7+ years of distributed backend experience and a strong CS foundation.

• Work across team boundaries – partner with identity, measurement, and bidding teams to integrate capabilities into omnichannel solutions.
• Own projects end to end, from early design through production rollout and ongoing operation.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical designs and execution plans.
• Deliver high‑quality changes with automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define success and drive toward it.
• Mentor other engineers and foster a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
