Job summary

OnePay is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build simple, beautiful experiences around money, earnings, and pay schedules. You will contribute across the @Work platform with a focus on scalable, secure, and high-performance systems in a fast-growing fintech.

Collaborate with product, design, and operations while shaping product strategy and delivering reliable, maintainable code. You’ll work in a remote-friendly US environment with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or data-intensive services.
• Solid hands-on full-stack engineering skills with backend and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience designing reliable, secure, high-performance systems, ideally in payments or regulated consumer finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and implementation for projects powering the @work platform.
• Set architectural standards and ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with product, design, and operations to shape and deliver the @Work product strategy.
• Oversee optimization of systems for reliability, security, and scalability.
• Own technical decision-making with a balance of rapid delivery and sustainable solutions.
