ThriftBooks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain our customer-facing ecommerce applications. You will work with a collaborative engineering team to deliver scalable software that supports business growth.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the platform with frontend and backend expertise. Hybrid in Tukwila, WA or remote in Phoenix, AZ, with a strong compensation package and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of professional web app development experience.
• Strong React, C#, SQL, and Next.js skills.
• Solid understanding of full-stack web development and browser basics.

Responsibilities

• Build features for thriftbooks.com using React, C#, and SQL Server.
• Maintain performance, scalability, and reliability of features and infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural discussions and set technical standards.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and handle production issues including on-call.
