Job summary

Postman is seeking a Senior Engineer to shape customer journeys from signup to purchase. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and data to deliver intuitive experiences for individuals, teams, and AI-assisted workflows.

You will own key journeys, drive adoption of core platform capabilities, and leverage data to inform decisions. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a competitive equity package and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building frontend or full-stack apps with strong UX focus.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, CSS; experience with React or Next.js.
• Track record of building product experiences that drive engagement and adoption.
• Experience using data, analytics, or experimentation to guide product decisions.
• Strong product sense and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve key product journeys from sign-up through onboarding, discovery, and purchase.
• Build user experiences helping developers and teams realize value of Postman.
• Design and implement features that drive adoption of core platform capabilities for various user types.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements.
• Use experimentation and analytics to inform decisions and validate impact.
• Understand how developers use Postman and apply insights to improve the product.
• Iterate quickly with incremental improvements that compound over time.
• Contribute to onboarding and discovery system evolution as the product grows.
