Job summary

Stevens is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a client delivery pod. You will own features end-to-end, spanning interfaces, services, databases, and integrations using JavaScript and Node.js, collaborating with delivery leadership and other engineers to balance immediate delivery with long-term health.

You’ll participate in client discussions, perform code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software engineering experience on production web applications.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals: asynchronous programming, promises, modules, error handling.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend with Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Own full stack features from requirements clarification to design, implementation, testing and release.
• Build interfaces and backend services using JavaScript, Node.js, and frontend framework.
• Develop APIs, database models, and integrations for client workflows.
• Work with the pod to convert priorities into tasks with clear acceptance criteria.
