Job summary

Capital One is seeking a seasoned Full-stack Engineer for a leadership role in McLean, VA. You will drive architecture across distributed microservices, mentor teams, and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.

You’ll work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases, shaping platform roadmaps and best practices in a high-impact environment. Strong communication and mentoring skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies.
