Job summary

VoltaGrid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, to join our Houston-based corporate headquarters. You will help enhance our SaaS ERP-like tools, including records, inventory, maintenance management, operational oversight, and executive dashboards, built as cloud-native, event-driven applications.

You will work on distributed agile teams, use AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS), develop APIs in TypeScript and Go, and front-end in React, with IaC using Terraform, CDK, SST, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in either TypeScript or Go.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native AWS services and patterns.
• Solid experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ownership mindset and startup-like cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a distributed agile development team.
• Engineer solutions using AWS services e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS.
• Develop event-driven APIs using TypeScript and Go.
• Develop front-end applications using React.
• Deploy applications using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, and SST.
• Contribute to code reviews and CI/CD processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems and deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners, customers, and partners.
