Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize financial risk management applications. You will build cloud-native solutions on AWS and OpenShift, using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices to power analytics for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities include scalable API development, event-driven architecture with Kafka, automated testing, and CI/CD integration across Oracle and Snowflake environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-9 years of software engineering delivering enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, REST APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Java-based applications.
• Build cloud-native solutions on AWS and OpenShift with containers.
• Develop APIs and distributed systems with focus on performance and security.
• Automate testing, CI/CD integration, and ensure quality controls.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering leaders.
