Job summary

Talon Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of modern web-based applications in secure environments supporting cyber operations and research missions.

You will mentor junior engineers, implement secure DevSecOps practices, and oversee Docker-based deployments while coordinating across cyber operators and researchers to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience/certifications/training.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, and integrating software using Agile methodologies.
• Extensive experience building full-stack applications including backend services, APIs, and modern web interfaces.
• Experience deploying Docker-based applications and working in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Ability to work in secure/declassified environments and lead technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting cyber research and operations.
• Lead deployment and management of Docker-based applications in secure environments.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and other modern languages.
• Architect and manage deployments in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Implement DevSecOps practices and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
