Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Front End .Net Engineer to join Schwab Technology Services in Southlake, TX and Austin, TX. You’ll craft scalable web interfaces using Angular/TypeScript, leverage AI-assisted tooling, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable, high-performance financial software.

You’ll contribute to modernization efforts, improve UI platforms, and ensure accessibility and RESTful integrations while thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of front-end web UI development experience.
• Extensive experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in consuming RESTful services and web APIs.
• Experience with SPA architectures and modern UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery processes.

As our Front End .Net Engineer, you will need to be a self-starter who partners well with others. This role is all about getting the job done, so you have a can/will do mentality about all tasks associated with getting phenomenal code out the door. In this role, you will:

• Help build a critical part of Schwab’s growth in the Workplace market.

• Design and build scalable platforms supporting critical workplace applications under the Retirement Plan Services organization supporting millions of participants.

• Drive modernization initiatives, includingUIand foundational system improvements that enable faster, safer integration and partnerships

What you have

• Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and client side MV* frameworks.

• Extensive design experience to help lead/validatedesigns on new applications and major enhancements to existing applications across the portfolio.

• Well versedwith unit testing patterns (TDD/BDD) and methodologies,leveragingkarma/jasmine and other frameworks.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot etc.) to accelerate coding velocity, including leveraging custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to extend AI context into our proprietary internal services and modernize team workflows.

• An exacting attention to detail and the talent and enthusiasm for producing highly usable and scalable web software solutions using advanced development technologies.

• Proven excellent technical and business communication skills at various organizational levels.

• Confidence solving problems in a dynamic customer-focused team environment that uses the newest technologies and techniques.

• A commitment to regularly improving your technical and professional skills, learningemergingtechnologies and growing asvaluedteam member.

• Responsive Design and Single Page Applications (SPA)expertise.

• Confidence using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Web Accessibility experience.

• Proficiencyin consuming RESTful services.

• Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT).

• Knowledge of ContentManagemntSystems (CMS) and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).

• Understanding ofAgile software development principles, including experienceparticipatingin a Scrum-based delivery team.

• Familiarity with C#/.Netand ASP.NET.

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
