Job summary

Astreya is actively seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer who brings depth across the presentation, application/services, and data layers. You will design and maintain responsive apps with React.js and Node.js, expose RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, and build serverless solutions on Azure/AWS.

You will also model SQL/NoSQL data, work with graph databases, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in full stack web development across presentation, app/services, and data layers.
• Experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Router, etc.).
• Strong Node.js and Express.js experience.
• Experience with Azure / AWS services, especially Lambda and ECS.
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL design principles.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience, notably Couchbase.
• Experience with graph databases and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web apps using React.js and Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices with Node.js.
• Implement serverless architectures with Azure / AWS Lambda and ECS.
• Design and query SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
• Work with graph databases for complex data relationships.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and optimize applications for performance in an agile environment.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture planning.
