Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) seeks a senior software developer to design and deliver sophisticated software solutions. You will collaborate with IT Architecture staff and IT Managers to create designs meeting agency needs, mentor peers, and drive design reviews with a strong focus on reliability and scalability.

You will work with React, Redux, Angular, .NET/.NET Core, C#, and Azure cloud services, ensuring robust database access via SQL and Azure SQL.

Qualifications

• :Requires extensive technical knowledge of software development and contributes to solution designs

Responsibilities

• Provide solution designs in collaboration with IT Architecture staff and IT Managers
• Mentor team members and ensure project timelines are met
• Lead design reviews and provide post-production support for applications of varying size
• Develop solutions to complex issues through independent research and ensure code readiness for UAT and production
• Plan mentorship activities and document project plans with IT Managers
• Edit or create IT artifacts such as policies, standards and guidelines for approval
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Attend meetings, training, and conferences and deliver presentations when required
