Job summary

Frontier Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core, Blazor or React.

You will build Cloud-native APIs in Azure, implement robust CI/CD, and mentor teammates while collaborating with product and operations to deliver reliable software. The role emphasizes architecture leadership, code quality, and participation in agile ceremonies to shape the next generation of our software products for clean energy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus, Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORMs such as EF Core or Dapper.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Strong grounding in software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, clean architecture, and test automation.
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern front-end frameworks like Blazor or React.
• Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native components within Azure.
• Own feature development from concept to deployment, including architecture, implementation, documentation, and testing.
• Collaborate with product management, business analysts, and engineers to break down problems into actionable work.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews for long-term quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and observability, and assist with infrastructure automation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint ceremonies.
• Influence engineering best practices and drive architectural discussions across the department.
