Job summary

MegazoneCloud US is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize legacy applications and build agentic, AI-enabled capabilities on AWS. You will decompose systems, design target architectures, and implement services that sit on top of them, working in large client programs across regulated industries.

You will write production-grade Python and TypeScript, build serverless data pipelines, and deliver REST/GraphQL APIs with a focus on reliability, traceability, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience. 5-8+ years of professional software or platform engineering experience.
• Cloud-native delivery on at least one hyperscaler using containers, serverless, or microservices with AWS depth.
• Hands-on with core AWS serverless services and ability to choose right service for a requirement.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js with design-level code review ability.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK/Pulumi.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and resilient, scalable design patterns.
• Familiarity with GenAI and AI/ML workflows; quick uptake on new tech.
• Delivery discipline in Agile/Scrum or Kanban; experience with JIRA, Git, collaborative tools.
• Strong communication; ability to explain complex cloud patterns to tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent; entrepreneurial, fast-paced mindset.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and re-architect legacy applications into event-driven, serverless designs on AWS.
• Decompose systems, design target-state architectures, and build top-layer interfaces.
• Develop REST/GraphQL APIs; create front-end chat UIs, dashboards, and viewers.
• Write production-grade Python and TypeScript/Node.js; review others' code credibly.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Own testing, observability, cost, and security posture for deliverables.
• Engage clients: review requirements, run architecture demos, and produce design docs.
• Collaborate with client teams, vendors, and offshore delivery within governance processes.
