Job summary

IQuest Solutions Corporation is seeking a software engineer to advance web-based development standards and APIs. You will design responsive applications, lead API design, and coordinate cloud deployments in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Java development, strong front-end basics (HTML/CSS), and experience with MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB, as well as Microservices and DevOps/CI/CD. You will collaborate with Systems Development staff to meet user needs.

Qualifications

5+ years software development experience.
Degree in computer science or equivalent.
Hybrid work environment.
Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
Proficiency in Java.
Experience with MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
Experience in Microservice Architecture.
DevOps/CI/CD and Test-Driven Development.
Experience deploying applications in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Develop web-based development standards and maintain a software code repository.
Develop best practices policies and procedures for web development.
Design applications for all device types (responsive).
Coordinate vendor software updates with installed customized software packages.
Lead, plan, schedule, and ensure timeliness of project deliverables.
Provide technical assistance to the Systems Development Staff.
Design and develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Design user journeys/workflow.
Meet both technical and end user needs.
