Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise apps using Angular, Python, SQL, and REST APIs. This onsite Norfolk, VA role requires 6+ years of experience with a strong emphasis on test automation and quality engineering.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, and QA to ensure robust architectures and reliable deployments. Onsite 3 days weekly, with a focus on secure, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on Angular development and Python backend.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and design of REST APIs.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and SDET practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular and Python.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications following modern UI/UX principles.
• Develop, enhance, and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access components.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining application reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy.
• Develop automated test cases covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing.
• Establish testing standards, frameworks, and quality processes across the team.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define test coverage metrics and quality gates.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and drive defect prevention initiatives.
• Champion software quality, continuous testing, and quality engineering best practices.
