Job summary

Compunnel is seeking a Quality Engineer with 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks across web, mobile, and enterprise applications, with CI/CD integration and backend data validation.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Selenium WebDriver skills, hands-on Playwright/TypeScript, and experience with Appium for mobile testing, plus REST API testing and SQL data validation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or automation engineering.
• Proficiency in QA automation and test framework development.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with Appium for mobile application testing.
• Strong understanding of REST API testing and service integration testing.
• Experience with SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to develop reusable and maintainable automation components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java, Playwright with TypeScript, and Appium for mobile application testing.
• Create reusable automation components to improve test efficiency, coverage, scalability, and maintainability.
• Perform REST API testing, including request and response validation, API functional verification, and service integration testing.
• Validate backend data and application behavior using SQL.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality and delivery processes.
• Execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure application quality, data accuracy, and overall system reliability.
• Support testing activities across hybrid cloud environments and enterprise applications.
