Job summary

eBay seeks an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Customer Support Technology Team in Salt Lake City, UT or Austin, TX. You will own features end-to-end across UI, services, data, and actions, delivering agent tools and AI-powered workflows that scale support operations.

You will work with React/Angular on the frontend, Java 11+ with Spring Boot on the backend, and apply modern testing, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes practices to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

5+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
Java 11+ and Spring Boot backend, JavaScript/TypeScript frontend.
Experience building REST APIs and responsive web apps with React/Angular.
Kafka messaging, SQL/NoSQL databases in production.
CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, strong testing across layers.

Responsibilities

Build end-to-end product capabilities across frontend and backend.
Improve agent productivity and customer outcomes with tools and engines.
Contribute to AI-powered platform capabilities and orchestration workflows.
Collaborate with Product/SRE, review code, and drive engineering practices.
