Job summary

Orum is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of critical features, delivering seamless user experiences with a stack including Node.js, TypeScript, React, Ruby, PostgreSQL, GCP, and FreeSWITCH. You will work on the Dialer team, a high-performance, real-time system at the heart of outbound calling and AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with an RDBMS and SQL.
• Strong emphasis on maintainable, well-tested code.
• Ability to own features from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Own core product features from discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Design and build scalable systems (70% backend, 30% frontend) for real-time, high-volume workflows.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Engineers to shape and deliver intuitive experiences.
• Mentor teammates and promote a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Help define and uphold coding standards for a clean, scalable codebase.
