Job summary

Harvey, based in San Francisco, seeks a Software Engineer for the Product Engineering team. You will own and lead engineering projects across product lines, collaborating with AI, Legal, and GTM teams to deliver secure, value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in a product-focused full-stack software engineering role.
Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS (TailwindCSS), Python, or related tech.
Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products.
Proven ability to ship highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
Experience building scalable, extensible solutions across the stack for multiple product lines.
Strong programming skills and CS fundamentals.
Grit - experience at early-stage startups is a plus.

Responsibilities

Scale document ingestion and processing for rapid growth.
Design massive data collection across 50+ jurisdictions.
Build government-level security for top governments and firms.
Lead projects delivering AI to web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, MS Word, and APIs.
Build AI-platform features like agentic orchestration, tool calls, and retrieval systems.
Ship across the full stack with React/TypeScript frontend and Python/PostgreSQL backend.
