Job summary

Harvey, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering team and drive cross-stack projects across multiple product lines. You will collaborate with AI, Legal, and GTM teams to build secure, scalable systems that deliver value to customers.

You will work on full-stack development using React, TypeScript, CSS (Tailwind), Python, and Postgres, shipping AI-enabled features and integrations, with relocation assistance for in-person roles in SF or NYC.

Qualifications

5+ years in a product-focused full-stack software engineering role.
Experience with React, Typescript, CSS (TailwindCSS), Python, or related.
Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products.
Track record of shipping highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
Experience building scalable solutions across the stack for multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

Scale document ingestion and processing across jurisdictions.
Design massive data collection from 50+ jurisdictions.
Build government-level security for top governments and firms.
Lead projects delivering AI to web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, MS Word, and APIs.
Build AI-native features like agentic orchestration layers, tool calls, and retrieval systems.
Ship across the full stack using React/TypeScript frontend and Python/Postgres backend.
