Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer 5 on the Associate Experience team in New York, NY. You will architect and implement the agentic orchestration layer, enabling AI agents to be composed, sequenced, and operated within a unified associate experience for marketing initiatives.

You'll lead distributed microservices and full-stack development, collaborating with product managers, mentoring engineers, and shaping platform roadmaps in a cloud-native environment using Java, Python,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and mentor a team of engineers.
Architect and implement the agentic orchestration layer for the associate experience.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver cloud-based solutions.
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
