Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a senior software engineer to anchor a cross-functional engineering squad, guiding design decisions and delivering a next-generation healthcare data platform. You will own architecture direction, review code, and mentor teammates while building Java/Spring Boot, React, and Python components.

You will work in an AI-accelerated SDLC, using Copilot-based workflows to raise quality and velocity, and you will shape data-processing pipelines for provider data

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with cross-functional delivery.
• Proven full-stack delivery in Java and a modern JavaScript framework, plus Python data-processing pipelines.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as the squad’s technical anchor, owning design direction and safeguarding quality, security, and performance across its applications, services, and data pipelines.
• Design/Build and maintain Java Spring Boot apps, React UI apps and Python-based data-processing and delivery pipelines, ensuring accurate, reliable data delivery to downstream clients.
• Lead code reviews and uphold coding best practices; complete complex feature development and bug fixes.
• Drive backlog refinement, technical estimation, and sprint/release readiness in an Agile environment.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-team dependencies, integrations, and risk resolution.
• Champion AI-accelerated SDLC practices and mentor peers on effective use of AI tooling.
