Job summary

PitchBook is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Product and Engineering team. You will collaborate with team leaders, data analysts, and developers to build scalable, enterprise solutions using Java, Spring, and modern front-end tech.

You will work with SQL and NoSQL databases, apply CI/CD, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance software engineering. Strong communication and leadership are essential in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
8+ years of experience.
Full stack development experience.
Experience with AI-augmented development tools like GitHub Copilot.
Hands-on in Java, Web-services, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Strong databases knowledge (MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL, NoSQL like DynamoDB/MongoDB).
Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP.
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop web and enterprise solutions that are scalable and extensible.
Improve data flow, structures, and DB design for next platform.
Enforce agile practices including TDD and CI.
Hands-on development as part of responsibilities.
Develop areas of continuous and automated deployment.
Adopt best practices and innovative frameworks to speed business value.
Follow estimation, planning, reporting, and process improvements.
