The role emphasizes autonomy, mentoring, collaboration across units, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, and building scalable, reliable cloud-native applications with modern CI/CD and containerization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of professional software development experience (10+ years preferred).
• Experience leading technical efforts—architectural calls and project delivery with minimal supervision.
• Production experience using generative AI to deliver real work products in AI-assisted code and features.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications, owning technical direction from architecture through production deployment.
• Drive technical decisions and trade-offs with clear rationale to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and build AI-powered features into products.
• Architect and implement cloud-native systems using containers, IaC, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks proactively.
• Collaborate across business units to translate ambiguous needs into well-scoped technical solutions.
• Mentor the team through code reviews and engineering best practices.
