Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer in the United States to drive AI-enabled delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications. You will partner with business and technical teams to advance best practices, design robust REST APIs and microservices, and apply event-driven patterns to support rapid growth.

You will own hands-on development across Go, React, TypeScript, .NET and Python, maintain high observability, and mentor teams within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Full-stack hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with AI-driven services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical partners to implement software engineering best practices.
• Develop scalable, high-performance applications with strong observability and reliability.
• Architect REST APIs and microservices using Go, React, TypeScript, .NET and Python.
• Apply event-driven patterns and evaluate tradeoffs for optimal solutions.
• Lead and participate in Agile development, CI/CD and proof-of-concept initiatives.
