Checkbook is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale our payments platform from databases and backend services to APIs and user interfaces. You will own projects from architecture through launch using Python, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks.

You will develop robust APIs, ensure security, design extensive DB schemas, and create automation tools to improve quality and stability. Fintech exposure is a plus in this rapidly evolving fintech space.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with Python, Postgres and frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember).
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks including Flask, FastAPI and Django.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and find creative solutions.
• Fintech experience is a plus, but not required.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Checkbook, you'll design, build, and scale our payments platform - from databases and backend services to APIs and user interfaces. You'll work with Python, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks, owning projects from architecture through launch.
