Qualifications

• 10+ years in SaaS product development, including 3+ years building dining or POS software and 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Strong preference for experience in senior living or hospitality environments.
• Hands-on expertise with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Angular, and JavaScript; AWS experience valued.
• Deep knowledge of EMV terminals, tokenization, chargebacks, stored payment methods, subscription billing, and PCI compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build resilient restaurant and hospitality POS solutions supporting split checks, meal plans, and inventory workflows.
• Guide the engineering team, shape technical architecture, and influence the product roadmap.
• Integrate complex hardware such as tablets, receipt printers, and kitchen printers.
• Develop PCI-compliant, offline-first payment systems that function reliably with limited connectivity.

Our product is designed to keep operations running smoothly, even offline, and supports the specialized needs of dining environments. This is a senior technical leadership role with a broad impact across architecture, product direction, and engineering execution.

Requirements

• We are looking for a senior engineer with 10+ years of SaaS product development experience, including at least 3+ years building dining or POS software and 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• We strongly prefer experience in senior living or hospitality environments.
• We need strong hands‑on expertise with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Angular, and JavaScript, with AWS experience highly valued.
• We expect deep knowledge of EMV terminals, tokenization, chargebacks, stored payment methods, subscription billing, and PCI compliance.
• We need someone who can design offline‑first systems, including offline order capture, device failover handling, and local database synchronization conflict resolution.
• We are looking for proven domain knowledge of hospitality operations, including dietary restrictions, house accounts, and Kitchen Display Systems (KDS).
