Job Description

You'll build a production web application end to end for an internal initiative at our client, working across Python APIs, a React and TypeScript single-page application, and the relational data layer underneath both. This is a hands-on individual contributor role on a small senior team, with ownership from API design through rendered UI, including schema design, migrations, and the database work that keeps the product fast and reliable under real usage.

The work spans backend and frontend delivery. You'll build and evolve APIs in Python with FastAPI or a comparable async framework, ship production React and TypeScript features in an SPA environment, and work within an established component library and design system. You'll also turn complex internal datasets into charts, tables, and views people actually use, partnering closely with designers and product managers so your engineering judgment helps shape the product.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience, strong depth in relational databases, and real comfort debugging slow queries, refining schemas, and managing migrations. Agency, studio, or consulting experience is especially valuable here because the work calls for credibility with senior stakeholders, plus the ability to move quickly, work autonomously, and communicate clearly.
