Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a growing portfolio of OutSystems applications and digital transformation initiatives within PD Technology. This role serves as a technical leader, driving projects from requirements gathering through deployment while mentoring other developers and expanding the team’s delivery capacity. Location: Birmingham, AL (Preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development background.
• Experience with .NET, C#, web services, APIs, SQL databases, and modern web technologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and interact directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Experience working across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain OutSystems applications supporting multiple business initiatives.
• Lead technical discussions, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design efforts.
• Create and manage user stories, technical documentation, development tasks, and application roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and developers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support migration and modernization efforts, including converting existing applications into OutSystems.
• Contribute to application architecture, integrations, and platform best practices.
• Help distribute project leadership responsibilities and reduce dependency on existing technical leads.
• Mentor and support junior developers across development initiatives.
